  1. DNA Idk

  2. It is not due to genetic factors whatsoever.  It is simply due to the flow of fluids in the womb which no two fetuses would experience exactly the same.  Just like when you go to the ocean and see rocks that have been there for centuries with patterns and concentric whorls on them, this happens to the tissue of fingers, as it is very tender and and contains many nerve endings.  Same with the toes.

  3. Fingerprints differ in each person mainly due to genetic factors. However, fingerprint formation is significantly influenced by the environment in the womb before birth. Conditions such as nutrition, blood pressure, position in the womb and the growth rate of the fingers at the end of the first trimester are thought to influence the process. This means that twins will have similar but not identical fingerprints since no twins ever have identical conditions in the womb.

  4. Finger prints depend on the DNA of an individual which is also variable in each person. One could say identical twins have different finger prints though they have the same DNA origin, that would be because finger prints are affected from genetic mutations.

  5. The shapes of fingerprints are decided by conditions in the womb prior to birth.  Since even twins and triplets, etc. have different conditions in the womb, their fingerprints will be different from each other's.  If it were genetics, this would not be the case.

  6. Genetics. It's the same reason why no two people look the same. I am not sure though why identicle twins have different finger prints.

  7. Its because of Genetic factor

  8. same reason all snowflakes are different
