  1. their skin have like a layer that protects them from the saltiness however there are fishes in lakes and rivers also and they cannot live in salt water


  2. Osmosis on a cellular level.

  3. Fish are able to filter out the salt. This is of course, referring to salt water fish.

    Freshwater fish can't and will die in salt water.
