Question:

Why get weird?

So I need your insight on this. If a straight woman thought I was a L*****n and felt intimidated or uncomfortable, does this mean

she may find me attractive. That's why she is getting weird.

Why get weird if she doesn't have any feelings at all?

  1. Maybe she is embarrassed. Like when you see a woman and ask when the baby is due and she isn't pregnant.Just fat.

  2. It's like a white person who's grown up in a white community suddenly sitting next to a black person.  Even though, in your head, you know you should just act normal, you second guess everything you say and every action you make.  Is this person going to find it offensive?...

I don't think she has feelings.  I just think she's second guessing herself.  She'll relax in a bit.

  3. She feels uncomfortable around you now. She thought you were one thing, but you're another. She doesn't know how to relate to you anymore. It doesn't mean she's fighting any romantic feelings towards you.

  4. If you're a L*****n then she probably had one of those homophobic upbringings.  If you're not a L*****n, then she probably feels so dumb for every thinking that.  How sure are you that SHE'S straight.....hmmmm.

  5. Maybe she thinks you have a thing for her. Or maybe she has never been around any lesbians and is unsure of how to act.

  6. I really don't get your question. Are you a lez? Did she think so from the beginning? If so, perhaps she is prejudiced against it (like she is a fundie xian and they have it drilled into them to be anti-g*y). Or, as you mentioned, it threatens her because it brings up her suppressed desires.

  7. Just because she thought you were a L*****n does not necessarily mean that she thought you were attractive.   Just because you see a straight man - does this mean that you are automaticly attracted to him and he to you?

It could be any of several reasons.  She may be embarrassed she thought the wrong thing about you.  She might be a L*****n her self and now feels weird being  around a straight person that may suspect her.  It could be that you remind her of someone that hit on her.

I'd try and lighten the mood and focus on other things.  Forgive, forget and move on.

  8. perhaps she doesn't like lesbians that's all.

  9. I would think if the straight woman is acting strange she is the one who is weird. But, yes she could believe that you find her attractive and if she thought you were you were a L*****n, that you would make a pass at her and she would feel uncomfortable. It is a bit far fetched but it could hapen.
