Because girls like boys that are hard to get and hard to keep.  Its a challenge.

Girls think that if a guy is easy to get, he must not be worth as much as a bad boy.

Its silly, but thats how it goes.  You have to make the girl work to get you.  They'll value you more if you do.

Biologically speaking, a girl will automatically look for a person who has the appearance of an alpha male, so she will look for a bad boy because if she decides to have children by said person, she needs to know that they will be protected if trouble comes lurking about. Good boys are seen as less than Alpha males (but most of the time, this is not the case) by women, and as such are looked over.

Emotionally, many women report that being with a bad boy is fun in some respects and keeps them on edge in other respects. You just never know what kind of day it's going to be. With Good Boy, you have a good relationship with hardly any bickering or fighting, and as such, they get bored easily.  However, as they get older, this changes dramatically. Either that, or they get tired of the so-called Alpha male showing his true colours.

The Emotional side I can't really answer, because I am not a woman so that is up for debate. The Biological side, however, is hard to debate with, and would explain why women choose the men they do.

These folks are basically correct. A woman usually prefers a good guy in the end, and only those who are thrill seekers and often emotionally immature look for bad boys after thier early 20s. Sure they can be fun--but they are also trouble. And in the long run both bad girls and bad boys either have to mature or live a very unstable life. Most will mature and many will keep that little spark of badness--just enough to be a little bit bad now and then.

also--if you are a good-guy looking for a bad girl have you ever considered there are many good-girls that have a bad-girl side. But because you and they don't show it (wise) no-one knows. (A good thing.) So check out those good girls and you might discover a nice secret.

I dated too many 'bad boys' to count, but I am happy to say this bad girl is married to a REALLY good guy.
