  1. i was wondering the same thing!

they prob have special stuff smothered inside of the tube.

    haha.

  2. its not been exposed to oxygen

  3. Glue needs air to harden and stick, and there's no air inside the bottle, so it doesn't stick. Pretty simple, actually. I would put in this really long answer, but there's pretty much no way to put this in a complicated way. =]

  4. because the gum- bottle is made with a material so that glue doesnt get stuck on it.

  5. 1. It's not exposed to air to let it dry (not enough oxygen).

    2. It may have some chemical on the bottle to slow the drying process.

  6. It's probably made with a certain type of plastic that allows it to not be sticky. Also only when it drys it's usually sticky

  7. It will if you let air in.  And some glues will not adhere to the bottle material - i.e., it won't glue glass.

  8. wat kind of question is that silly. dont you know gum is gum and does not stick to itsefl

  9. it will, just expose it to the air

  10. Because the gum-bottle is coated with a thin layer of glue (gum) and everyone knows that glue (gum) doesn't stick to itself, silly!

  11. Polarity, most likely. The glue is sticky because it is very polar. This means it sticks to other polar substances like wood or leather. Glass, plastic and metal are nonpolar. The glue will not stick to the inside of a glass or plastic bottle.

  12. The affects of sticking take place when the glue hits the air.  The air makes it stick..
