Why god send angel gabriel to a town in galileee named nazareth?

He had a messsage for a young woman promised in marriage to a man named joseph? yes my question is right..

There is no prove that the angel that appeared to Joseph was Gabriel. Is sometimes assumed but not proved. This reffers to the angel that according to Mathew 1:20 appeared to Joseph and told him to be not afraid to marry Mary as she was pregnant with the Holy Spirit "But when he was giving thought to these things, an angel of the Lord came to him in a dream, saying, Joseph, son of David, have no fear of taking Mary as your wife; because that which is in her body is of the Holy Spirit.". Is assumed it was Gabriel as it was considered the Messenger of God, and as it was the one that appeared to Mary is assumed it also appeared to Joseph.
