Why governments lie on their people? is it criteria or nature of government politics?

- goverments are giving promise for ther people

- they say that they love and respect the people

but they lie to the people implys that they are jocking and play on the poeople by disdning different invisible methods the visible one is their media ( TV,Radio, ....)

There is one legitimate reason...

The government wants to protect the people from the truth.

And there are numerous non legitimate reasons...

Of course..a government does not lie to it's people...it's the people in government that are telling lies.

Couple top reasons-

1.Government type people think they are better and more important then a normal person.  So they don't think of it as a lie if they tell us normal folks an untruth.

2.A lot of people in government only worry about getting money and in turn getting Elected.  They will say or do anything to make this happen.

3.Some government people just don't care.  They feel they have a free ride to do or say whatever they want.
