Why grout keeps coming off the tiles and how to solve this problem?

  1. Did you properly seal the grout after it was installed?  that's the only thing I can think of as to why it is coming out.   You will need to remove it all, regrout then seal it with a grout sealer.


  2. Hello rodolfo,

    Technically, grout should never be "on" your tile floor.  If that is the case and you do truly have grout residue on the face of your tile it needs to be cleaned off and removed.  If you are referring to grout popping out of the joint it is supposed to be in, there may be a few solutions to your problem, none of which have anything to do with sealers.  Grout sealers add no fortitude to grout, only fills the pores to resist stain.

  3. depending on the with of your grout joints may not have used the right type grout ....small joints ...unsanded grout... large joints sanded grout..
