Question:

Why has Britain become increasingly violent because of the Blair/Brown government?

Under Blair/Brown, Britain seems to have become an increasingly lawless and violent society.

The government has made over 3,000 new laws (mostly 'political correct' and rogue laws and more than any other government in modern times) and the more laws it makes the worse the situation becomes.

  1. You have to look at immigration for the answer to this question. Most of the ethnics that come over here are brought up in violent societies and guns and knives are part of their culture. I know i'll probably get a lot of thumbs down for this answer but its about time people stopped burying their heads in the sand. What would you prefer - a member of your family murdered just so you can remain politically correct? The fact is that 75% of all serious crimes in the UK are commited by ethnics - time to get real people!

  2. Nah, foundation for the problems of today were the looney left councils and PC brigade that were forerunners of B&B. As a result, there is no reason to work, no reason to give a d**n about anyone else, and no reason to obey the law. Kick a cop, and you get a suspended 5 quid fine. If a cop kicks you, yo get a million in compensation. Why work hard?

  3. I hate labour, it seems there answer to any problem is to raise taxes on anything and who suffers, the poor!

  4. Denmark is going through a similar situation. Their studies have revealed that the young people committing the crimes in the country were almost exclusively from single-parent homes. They have put into law (becomes valid Oct.1) mandatory shared custody of children. They're discovering that a father in children's lives are the ultimate crime deterrent.

  5. The real reason for it is immigration ,before immigration there was no gun crime or stabbings. And all gun crime are caused by blacks and Asians. But the government is to scared to admit it and will do nothing about the problem.

  6. ADICT is right

  7. It hasn't

Haven't you read the latest news?

The crime rate is down 9% in the last year and 30% over 10 years.

  8. People are naturally rebellious. We don't like others telling us what to do and how to live.

Therefore, we will often do things out of SPITE because we want to show people that they CAN'T tell us what to do.

YES.. its childish... but its how humans are built

  9. Yes, while they are waisting time arresting normal people (in the paper yesterday a 12 year old gil was taken by 3 police for trying nail varish on the shop) and using valuable prison space for them....real cirminals get away with it.

They know they can drink drive and run someone over and get a small fine.

  10. it hasn't, crime has gone down. But because of the media, you and 65% of the population beleive it has gone up. Anyway, complaing with no action does nothing.

  11. I agree with ADICT.

  12. It might have something to do with the poor management of social policy and the fact that Britain is still a country who appeases the wealthy and ignores their poor.

  13. the public loves freedom to choose, to speak how they like,

these laws conflict with this a little bit, in addition to the increased struggle to feed our families, people (wrongly) take out their frustrations on everyone else
