Why has Dale Jr. been losing so much the past 3 years?

I don't think he even cares anymore. He done has enough of his fans money. We all know hes in the best cvar on the track and can easily win races but he only has one thanks to fuel. Whats the deal? I'm done cheering for him. Sure we have some optimists in here saying hes just now warming up but theyve said that for 8 years now, its not happened and its not going to happen. Hes just not that good

Cause his only clame to fame is his fathers name. Matt Kenseth has about the same number of wins why isn't he splattered all over the news pages, with endless talk about "Matt Nation"? Give me a break, Junior is a backmarker, if you like him fine cheer for him but don't try to shove him down our throats as some kind of racing god. He ain't and never will be,.

Malcolm B. Jr actually has more wins than Kenseth, as for the backmarker remark, backmarkers are not amongst the leaders in laps led sorry there.

because he was with dei. dei was run by teresa and then they started making thier own engins and they were using what i think was rcr engins. and teresa does not know how to make engins he finnaly won at michigan last month so it hasent benn 3 years its benn 2.

Last year was DEI equipment(OVERUSED EXCUSE, but Jr. could of finished better last year if his engines weren't popping every week.) , this year has been a combination of things. Bad luck, Stupid pit strategy, He probably could of have two or three wins by now if the races played out different for him.

We'll see. I'm surprised he got in a slump like this after his win, I thought he would of lit on fire and start to win everything.

It may be because every time he circles the track he sees Wedge_Antille's oogulay face staring back at him.

Wouldn't you slow down and stall every time you saw someone as uglay as him?

My solution would be to ban Wedge from attending any event that Dale Jr is at and maybe he'll get better. Otherwise Dale is going to continue make all of his fans unhappy.

Oh I see . You're what we call a "fair weather fan." The guys FOURTH in points for the stupid chase, the final ten races is the season, not the first 26 races.

Have any of you made it past the third grade?  Some of these answers were impossible to read.  

Jr  is a good driver, he's not a great driver.  All of the excuses in the world won't change that fact.

His early success this year was due to the focus HMS put on him.  Now that they are shifting some of that focus back to their premier drivers, Jr can't manage to get a top ten.

Be realistic, cheer for your driver, celebrate when he does well, but stop living in dreamland.

because he can't drive duh. i don't see why people say he is the face of Nascar when it takes him 2 years and some races to win come on he sucks he need to hang up the wheel along with michale waltrip. jr just cant drive.

your not and never was a true fan, you seem like you think he should win every sun. the talent in nascar has steadily gotten better, he will win more races he went to a better team, his step mom held him back for the last few yrs and when he changed teams last yr it is naturally gonna take some time to get everything clicking. he has run constantly run better this yr than last, he has a good shot of winning a cup title so if you don't like it he won't miss you a bit.
