The IDOPS only regulates licensing - they have no criminal investigative powers - you should ask the Attorney General that question.

I have had contact with many state licensed people and agencies - only to find that I get a run around when it comes down to regulating and sanctioning them.  Illinois IDOPS is a mess and it is not efficiently run.
