Why has McCain dropped so much in the polls?

Palin was supposed to bring up the polls for him with the Christian people who are against people having health care for abortions. Is it the troopergate? did they find out how much experience Obama readlly has with 12 years in the senate not 2? Are they concerned about her not being experienced with national security....Well, tell me why you have given up on McCain or what you are hearing. The RNC will have Bush & Cheney I think that is going to bring him down even more.

  1. umm Spiritual one.. I guess this is your first time watching an election.   ALL candidates no matter how bad... get a "bump" in the polls in the days after their convention.  Ask this same question next weekend about Obama.

  2. Because people are immune to the GOP after 8 years.

  3. There was a small dip in the polls right after the DNC. People were a bit cranked up over Obama. You'll see the the numbers go up for McCain when he gives his speech. The numbers will go back and forth until election day. It's not a fair indicator of what will happen in November.

  4. palin has been in politics since 1992

    obama since 1996

palin has "worked" for the gov

    Palin has "run" the gov

obama, since 2004 has had 143 days as an active senator.

    hmmmm.....

4 years and just 143 days as active work.

    www.thomas.gov

that the online library of congress, look it up for yourself and see how much experience ole obama really has! LOL

  5. got proof

  6. Dear SCL: I believe the Kool-Aid the Dnc is giving you is working. Obama:12 yrs as a us senator? Alaska is almost a country..she runs it.  She's self sufficient. If you got lost in the woods; could you survive? She can. She is a lot stronger woman then a lot of men are men. And if I hear one more person talk about that beautiful child she brought into this world, in a sorry way, I will scream.  Hillary Clinton couln't lace up her boot straps.   If you want the Messiah; go with him. But leave our people alone. I'd take her for President over the one you have running..right now!  Margaret Thacher, Golda Mier, and other great women leaders have had to take grief from the insecure people that they deal with. I think it's the same here...Don't you think?

  7. in a word: sarah

    in two words:running mate

    in three: voters aren't stupid

    four: reality is setting in

  8. He hasn't. References? Try again.

  9. Because of his gaffes, his thinking disorder and now the joke of Sarah Palin

  10. It's pretty normal for any party to get a "bump" after their convention.

McCain timed his announcement to try and offset Obama's bounce and media attention from the convention, but that doesn't mean he'd expect to gain in the polls or anything like that.

  11. it was a hail marry to steal hilarry's voters by appinting women there were several better picks but they were not extremist anti choice. This shouls shut up the obama has no exp crowd or at least make them look dumber

  12. Link?  The only poll I saw taken since the Palin choice and Obama's speech had zero bounce from the convention to Obama, all being wiped out by the Palin nomination.

The Gallup poll was taken the day before his speech and the palin selection.

  13. I think that people are sort of realizing that McCain is like Bush except he has brains. Like an evil person. D:

  14. Being from Illinois...and

    Chicago,

Obama has done zilch for our

    state!

He will do the same for our Country.

    Nothing!

However, I do not feel McCain will

    do any better.

  15. His ratings are dropping as fast as his willy does it seems.

  16. The bump for Obama was expected, but is only about 1/2 what they hoped for.

    12 years in the Senate.

    Using Liberal math maybe.

    Palin runs a state.

    Obama and Biden run campaigns.

    Nice try.

No sale at your obvious prevaricating spin.

  17. Care to cite a poll that has been taken since McCain chose Palin?.

All you cite is your opinion.

  18. Because he picked an inexperienced woman as his running mate, another Geraldine Ferraro.

    Today's tracking poll:   Obama 49, McCain 41

    http://www.gallup.com

  19. Because you are looking at polls conducted BEFORE McCain announced his VP choice.  Hopefully, you were aware of the bounce in the polls that candidates get after their convention.  The DNC concluded the day before McCain's VP announcement.  See how simple that was?
