  1. I really don't think it's about the money. We're down to two candidates now. No matter how much money is donated now, most of the voters have made up their minds. You could argue this both ways, either more people are supporting Obama, or that his supporters are in fear that he may loose and are trying to drum up support. Either way, look at the source of the information, it's coming from Obamas side, not an independent party, so, it could all be a publicity stunt.

  2. You are comparing apples to oranges.  Days to hours.  The RNC to Obama's campaign instead of McCain' campaign to Obama's campaign.

I only have numbers for donations to McCain's campaign for last Friday and Saturday.  The McCain campaign (not the RNC) received $4 million in new donations within 2 hours of announcing Palin as his VP and a total of $10 million in the first two days after announcing Palin.

If you want your numbers to mean anything, you have to compare donations to McCain with Obama and then the RNC with the DNC.

It does not make sense to compare Obama's receipts with the RNCs.

    Got it???

  3. Wow - great.  I went on Obama's sight to give money earlier and couldn't get the sight to work.  Perhaps too many people there giving money.

GoBama - Let's get some actual leadership - and no more religious fanatics starting wars.

    Got to go give money!

  4. because the republicans have been wrong and so is John Mccain

  5. Because the left is SCARED now.

    Not that it'll matter.

  6. McCain has had a record month with 47 millions sent in...Obama's went up because his supporters are scared to death he will lose.
