Why has Obama voted the party line 99% of the time while in the Senate?

Obama actually hardly voted on anything, only what he felt strongly about Partial Abortion and Hand guns and protecting murdering gangs from getting capital punishment.   All the things WRIGHT, PFLEGER and Jackson would do.  His best BUDDIES!
