  1. Because of his misdeeds.Every bad man has to deal with unpopularity.

  2. i've the same feeling you have for him,

his attitude is now a days very different..........

  3. because of his behavior he is like a don in cricket the word"I TOLD OUT " PROOVES IT

  4. http://givinginfo.vintagecomputers.at

you can get much information in this website, kindly stay a minute in website and check anyone link at a time, and you can aslo get your question answer in Google Search in this website, which has already helped me very much.

  5. Only in India because he is the captain of world's best team and can break Sachin's test centuries records

  6. His ways on the field and his looks.

  7. Something to do with being Captain of the greatest team in the history of cricket perhaps?

  8. RickY Ponting May Be Good But Ricky Ponting Doesn't Always Win Against India. It Is A Tie Under Captaincy Against India (2-2).

  9. Well from where i'm sitting it's only you Indians who think like this..

Your racism clouds your judgement, what can i say....

  10. Arrogance. Otherwise, why should he belittle Neil Harvey ? He is like Bill Lawry.

  11. He is a good captain , batsman and player.  But his comments, remarks on the field and off the field makes him un popular

  12. becaz he was cheter

  13. He hasn't in Australia, in fact, a recent poll found that he is the most marketable cricketer in Australia, as regards sponsors. And if you please, his name is PONTING, not pointing. I always spell Sachins name correctly, why can't you do likewise for our captain? The only people who he is not popular with are those Indians who cannot accept that he is captain of the World Champions, they are all sore losers.

  14. he is arroganr

  15. Only with Indians, because his team win most times they play India. All the lies they spread here mean nothing, Ponting is still greatly respected in Australia, & that's what counts. If and when he goes, it will be his decision. It may be soon, or it may be in a few years, but as Michael Clarke has already been named as his likely successor, he may decide to step down after next season

  16. Only in India is this biased opinion rife. Elsewhere he is known as a very good captain and batman. All the so called trouble is basically media hype. The media love to cause friction and scandalous innuendos that have very little to do with truth.

In reality he is a person that is passionate about captaining his country. If there is some wrong with being passionate, then sure, he is guilty of that. However, all the other claptrap is just unwarranted and unjustifiable opinions.
