  1. As technology gets better, the more complex it is, but I find XP rather simple to use, but it depends on whether your a computer geek like me

  2. I think girls were prettier back then too :)

  3. ITS ONLY 1'S AND 0'S.

  4. come on man... the word is not complicated.. its "advanced"... everyone said xp is complicated than 98 and continued using 98.. but rite now everyone use xp.. its something always like that when something new comes up...

  5. I think xp rules and i am not bothered about the gloss of vista or a mac, the internet has become polluted with complicated solutions which many are useless beyond one specific need

  6. Computer isnt becoming complicated but people are becoming dumber

  7. Because people want computers to be able to do more and more, but when the developers do that, they s***w something else up, which means they need a short cut to get it to work, which in turn complicates things a bit (especially when they go wrong!)

  8. Because everybody concerned with computing ignores the age-old KISS principle: Keep It Simple, Stupid!

The number of arguments I've had about this one with programmers. For some reason they think complexity is a good thing. Myself, I always try to strip my code down to bare essentials and look for things I can take out or simplify.

  9. Ahhhh yeah... and floppies were so much cooler than cd's... Monkey Island!!!

  10. It has gotten more complicated and will continue going that way but there are forums like this and other sites where all you have to do is ask, and if you want, tell them you're a novice and people will answer your questions in layman's terms
