  1. Oh, I know; I'm a big fan of I Love Lucy, and I liked most of her hats; plus their an additional protection from the sun.  Especially those wide brimmed sun hats.  I'm not too sure about bonnets though, that would really be taking us back.

  2. They are not out of fashion as such.. you see a lot os hats on the ramp the fashion shows... they are just a bit incovinient when kissing :D :D

  3. They are coming back. Fedoras are in big in California, anyway. . . but we don't wear gloves and capes or fur coats anymore, either.

  4. Yeah.  It's a matter of time.  Bowlers are pretty tight.  Baseball caps are B.S.

  5. um,....hats went out of style? what?

no lol jk i never wear hats idk why they went out with a bang.

  6. Summer time is hat season,  and a great sunscreen! Where do you get your info.?

  7. I hope so! I love hats. The 1920-30's was a good time for hats. I have seen that the 30's style is coming back. I hope we begin wearing hats again. I also love how women's clothing is becoming more feminine. We have finally gotten out of the horrible 90's where clothing was ugly!

  8. Here in the industrial North, I still see many working people wearing the time-honoured flat cap.

  9. I think you accidentally posted in the wrong section.

I know that why I don't wear hats is more because I avoid trend following, and don't like seeing more of my friends wearing american apparel and a fedora, beret, or sunhat.. I would nøt buy a hat if they started making a comeback. I think shopping for them personally would require getting one from a couturier or vintage milliner. It's the sort of thing that, since the silhouette is so distinctive, you should save up for and buy a one of a kind.

  10. I still see of people wearing baseball caps, and fedoras and berets are quite fashionable right now. I wear a beret quite frequently.

  11. How distasteful LBSDM.

Anyway, if Fedoras make a comeback, I'll totally wear one.  I've always thought they were classy.

  12. i don't know about you but my hats are part of my most fashion forward accessories. Nope, they are still very much trendy

  13. It became unfashionable because you wear one lol. Actually I don't know . Maybe because they are not comfortable. Thats why I don't wear them anyway.

  14. They just fell out of fashion and no-one really bothered to revive them in the same way other previous fashions have been revived. The head librarian at my local library still wears a Fedora and a Panama in the summer (as do I), but they are seen as rather stuffy. In countries where the weather is hotter, hats and caps are more frequently worn.

In the south of France last year I saw many men wearing hats.

  15. That has a lot to do with President John F. Kennedy, who looked young and attractive and had a full head of hair. He did not wear hats and many men started copying him. As a result, hats started falling out of fashion.

  16. As long as there are bald headed men, there will be caps and hats.

I like hats, and wear them when I go out.  I wish they were more popular.  They are a fun fashion accessory!
