  1. he was always hung over from the night b4

  2. cause he bottles it when it matter,s he has the most bottle than any snooker player but he always has screwed up in world finals no pun intended remember when he was 14 8 to hendry lost 18 14 and in 1992 it was 17 17 and he was 36 to 0 up missed a sitter of a black then hendry cleared up once again i was gutted as i am a huge jimmy fan but i guess it,s just not meant to be he has had his chances can,t see them coming along again .

  3. because he plays for the audience not for the points. because he enjoys playing not actually winning.

because he's not hungry for points he just makes a great match when he plays...he goes for balls which you'd never think of. so obviously the opponents attack and win...

but he's  good player. great to watch.

  4. he got very close in the final aginst Alex. jimmy was leading 15-14 and with a 59 break on the 30th frame, he missed and on came Alex with a superb 69 break and then the mood swung nd Jimmy lost. very good player, but sometimes his patience is betraying him.

  5. STEPHEN HEDRY???

Outperformed on match day or Nerves!!!

    Great player!!

  6. cuz his style of play is too flamboyant . . looking to please the public more than playing to win. . . unfortunately, history always remember the winner. . . if he could discipline himself to win like steve davis does, he's actually not that far away . . .there were a couple of times he came so close. . . but the opponent away steal away from him

  7. Jimmy White has proved he's a top player, getting to many finals but never quite hitting home the ball that counts.

Maybe it was more important to him to spend time with his friends, socialising, going to casinos etc; than to make that final bit of effort to hone his craft until he could be 100% sure of winning.  He is/was certainly talented enough.

  8. BECAUSE HE COULDNT WIN A WORLD FINAL VERY SIMPLE ANSWER

  9. he must be a bit c**p!

  10. Because he has never been good enough in the final and always come up against someone better on the day.

Tough luck for him as he has definitely got to be the best snooker player never to have won it, though getting to the final 6 times speaks volumes for his quality and consistency.
