  1. Maybe you are scaring him. After you give him the pinky do you just stand overtop of him waiting for him to eat it? try giving him some privacy and see what happens.

  2. all snakes can go on hunger strikes...even snakes that are usually great feeders like ATB's.  treat the snake like any other snake on a hunger strike.  just try to feed it every week as normal don't try more often than that or you will stress the snake out.  we had an ATB (adult) that went on a long hunger strike for about 6 months.  if the snake isn't loosing muscle mass then don't worry about him too much.  if you hold your ATB a lot go ahead and handle the snake normally.  for those of you reading this saying that ATB's are display snakes we had ATB's that we used to get out all the time their bite isn't all that bad.

you said that you are feeding your snake a pinky so i am assuming that it is a baby snake, if the snake is younger than 6 or 7 months old if he hasn't eaten in about 3 months you might think about taking it to the vet at that point.

    good luck!

  3. Hi There! Snakes arent like us they need time to digest and it can take up to 3 or 4 weeks to digest so i would say he needs time. Good Luck! -Lily Allen♥☻☺

  4. it joined weight watchers

  5. well are you feeding live or frozen? if your feeding frozen...go to live....ya im sure some people will disagree...but iv always fed live and always will..so thumbs down me haters ....i dont care!

what are the temps in the cage?

when was the last time he ate.....

alot of snakes will stop eating for a while but its usually in the winter...not sure where your from...more than likely there are 2 causes....temperatures or parasites. Raise the temps a little bit and try again if he doesnt eat then i suggest you take him to an exotic vet.....they usually charge around 30 to 40 dollars for the exam....and depending on what they treat the prices go from there....it doesnt cost anything to call a vet and ask them though.

  6. He may be about to shed his skin.My father-in-law had a bunch of snakes and this is something that he would suggest first.

Is his eyes kinda hazy?If they are then he is about to shed his old skin.If this is not the problem then he may have a vitamin deficiency. You can go up to your local pet shop and buy a powder that you sprinkle on his food.
