  2. he probably has scratched or bruised it and has a little infection. Get some antibiotics from an aquarium and follow the directions on the back of the pack. Also remove any ornaments until he heals and do not chase him with a net.

  3. It could be many things...

    Maybe your water temperature is too high for him, it may have caused a rupture in his eye or just be a burst vein.

    Have you checked your tanks ammonia levels lately? Sometimes if your fish has been "excreting" a little to much it turns into ammonia which can hurt their gills, scales, eyes and mouths eventually leading to them dying.

    If I were you I'd hop down to my vets to get my fish looked at!

  4. It is likely that your fish has something called "red spot"  (very original name). Red spots form where an irritation occurs on the fish's skin, possible causes of this are parasites or sharp objects in the tank.
