We were due to move in together a few days ago and he's changed his mind and wants to live on his own in this new house we planned was ours.
I've been with him for 20 months now. At the beginning he was so loving and caring and always put me first even before his friends if he felt the need to. But suddenly he's changed completely.
I'm temporarily staying at his parents' house on my own because his parents split up a few weeks ago. Also this house is going to be reposessed soon.
I moved 200 miles after my boyfriend said that a long distance relationship would not work anymore. So i dropped out of college, left my friends, family and my home behind me and moved in with him and his parents. Now i found the house that he wants to move in to and i arraged it all so that we signed papers for it and technically it was 'ours'. My boyfriend went behind my back and told our landlady that he'd rather live there on his own and have the single room.
He tells me that its because he wants his space and he cant really afford the rent for both of us, which i totally understand.
If i could stay at his parents' house until i get a job then i would but due to repossesion i can't...my partner also said that once i get a job and get some money together then we can talk about moving in together again.
Now the problem is that when this house gets reposessed im not going to have a home anymore, and i asked my partner this morning if it would be possible for me to live with him temporarily whilst i get on my feet and get a job. In the meantime i'd be looking after the house and animals and i'd just about be able to afford to buy our food if he could pay the rent. Obviously i'd pay him back eventually.
After i said all this to him his immediate answer was 'No', i asked him why and he said i just dont think its a good idea.. so i told him that i wouldn't of asked if i wasn't desperate to that i just got a reply of 'i know you wouldn't of but it's a no' I have nowhere else to go.
I cant go home because of family problems and parents moving into a smaller home.
Im just soo confused and worried. It's like he's thinking of himself which doesn't bother me, but it's as if he doesnt care what happens to me.. he also mentioned me moving back home (which is not an option)
Why's he changed so much? and more importantly what on earth am i going to do?
Any help would be very much appreciated...
