  1. minnows are egg scatterers, they do not get pregnant. if it was full of eggs it would be even all the way round, not a lump on one side.

lumps can be anything from an infection from an injury, and abscess, even a tumour. it could be that this may be an abscess caused by injury (possible by the goldfish) in which case the fish needs to be isolated and treated with anti-bacterial medication. if it's a tumour it's untreatable and the lifespan will be shortened, watch for signs of dropsy as this shows the fish's organs are beginning to shut down. i had a betta with a tumour who lived for several months quite normally with the tumour before succumbing to it.

  2. yea that same thing happend to me n i heard that its some kind of fish aids..... wat are u feeding that thing man?? ur a killer... im calling the animal cops on u

  3. What colour is the lump?

The only colour lumps I've seen on my fish are white.

If they are white lumps it means your fish is ill. The white lumps are actually this disease [or bacteria, I forgot] called ich. Its really quite deadly, so if they are white lumps give your fish a salt bath immediately! [Salt baths really help a lot].

  4. First of all, you should never keep gold fish with any other fish. It sounds like your mino has a cyst. First, separate the fish. Second, add a table spoon of aquarium salt to a gallon of water for your mino. The next day add another table spoon. The cyst should clear up with in a few days. Just keep and eye on him and keep the gold fish in a separate tank.
