I bought a brand new black one, after the first wash it was fine. I then washed it two times in a row in row to make it shrink now see that part of it look grey. Is this normal or have I done something to make the colour fade? How can I prevent fade in the futire?

  1. Unless a gi is colour fast, it will lose its colour. Black especially. Keiko are a decent make but unfortunately, don't use good grade material. Nice cut and design but poor materials.

You can go to a store and get something to put in the wash next time which will make it colour fast. Woolworths type of store should carry it. The washing of a gi at higher temperatures will make them bleed a lot faster as well. Cool wash and hang dry (rather than dryer).

    Hope that helps
