  1. I think some doctors work it out differently, some from last period ,others from ovulation, or maybe she got her wires crossed

  2. I am not sure that should be starting 7. Different people and dr.'s do it different ways. They make something so simple hard for us.

  3. Because 1) a month is 31 days, not 4 weeks and 2) even though it is the start of your seventh month, you have only completed 6 months.  You also weren't a year old when you were born - you have to complete the time before you say I am x months, years, etc.

  4. A month is based on 28 days, just like your cycle. On calendar days, some months can have 5 weeks in it, thats why people think pregnancy last for 9 months, instead of actually 10 months.

    4 weeks -1 month

    8 -2

    12 -3

    16-4

    20-5

    24-6

    28-7

    32-8

    36-9

    40-10

from 24-28 weeks you will be 6 months pregnant, then from 28-32 you will be 7 months pregnant. The day you end your 6th month u start ur 7th month. If you are almost 28 weeks pregnant u are still in your 6th month. This is all from my doctor!

  5. Because she doesnt know how to count. 28 weeks is the beginning of 7 months.

  6. Firstly there are 4.3 weeks in a 30.5 day month.

But you don't start 1 month pregnant, you start 0 months pregnant.

    28 weeks = 196 days.  196/30.5 = 6.4months

  7. I am not sure but from what I know...28 weeks is the start of your 7 month....

  8. well she is wrong

    The timeline is like this:

    Month 1 = Weeks 1-4

    Month 2 = Weeks 5-8

    Month 3 = Weeks 9-13

    Month 4 = Weeks 14-17

    Month 5 = Weeks 18-21

    Month 6 = Weeks 22-26

    Month 7 = Weeks 27-30

    Month 8 = Weeks 31-35

    Month 9 = Weeks 36-40

So you would be in your 7th month
