  1. my television did that a few weeks ago. I thought rescanning the channels would work, but it didn't. However, a few days ago, I wanted to watch Britain's got talent, and it was working! I must have been a ghost or something...

  2. exactly the same has happened to me over the past month. i now cannot get any itv related channels. my ariel is on top of a tower block so you can imagine how high that is and nothing blocking it. email me if you find the right answer

  3. it could be that your roof top aerial has moved possibly by the wind or that a new building has been put up blocking the signal. all this is assuming your not on digital and if you arent it might be worth considering going onto freeview or sky.

if freeview you may need a new aerial.

  4. Maybe there is maintenance being carried out on your local transmitter and the signal is reduced. ITV is always lower signal strength than BBC anyway.

Check here for planned transmitter work:

  5. It might be due to weather conditions.

  6. It's my BBC signal that has gone wonky alot of snow and ghosting, all other channels are fine, picture also isn't as good with my freeview box as well so I'm assuming they are doing maintenance work on the transmitter.

  7. are u still on an old ariel ? if so it might be a bad termination somewhere or the coax breaking down somewhere
