Why has pc stopped recognising camcorder?

i have a pc running vista home premium and sony mini dv dcr-hc27e worked fine via i link/firewire cable then i had to reboot pc and went to plug camcorder in and pc now will not recognise it help please

  1. You need to install the camera driver.
