  1. I ask myself this everyday. A thank-you  or excuse me please is lovely to hear when out in the town, I want to move because of the same. But I fear this is happening in a lot of places. The best way to start this up again is by teaching the children the very basic facts of good manners.

  2. Because the needs of others compared to yourself has become a relatively lost concept.

Modern Society dictates that you put yourself first to get ahead, to get what you want and to be secure in life.

  3. That's a rather rude and obnoxious way to ask a question.

  4. Rudeness is a completely subjective term, and people have always been "rude" in regards to the socially accepted standards of politeness respective to their time period and location. For example, someone that you might consider very polite might be thought of as extremely rude only a hundred years ago. Of course, I understand that you are still irritated by people who, by your standards, are very rude. However, you should realize that society has not "become" rude; a large portion of people always have and always will continue to break the societal norms of etiquette. I suppose on a large time scale you could say that society's standards of manners have degenerated from years and years ago (although this is arguable; social scientists have observed that etiquette rules tend to fluctuate rather than simply decline), but the portion of people who are rude by common standards is still essentially the same.

  5. They leave Jesus out of their life.  You need Him yourself. Your question indicates you do not know Him.  Check out John 3:16 in the Bible.

  6. I honestly think it's to do with upbringing.

I was brought up to respect others and treat them as I would like to be treated myself.

Sometimes it's so hard though these days as a lot of people appear to have no values. Especially being a comuter, I find that so may commuters are really inconsiderate.♥

  7. Maybe because people have became intolerable. We have less capacity of forgiving and that's why people behave in that way. Moreover, people became selfish and materialistic, for that reason it is common to see families fighting for money.
