  1. i have to agree with you there this great sport has become soft. the defenders cant do anything they use to do eg. knocking the ball away when the opposition goes for a mark. if they get anywhere near them when they go for the mark, straight away its a free kick. and you know who is to blame for all these crappy little rules bloody andrew. he has ruined this great game. he is trying to extend the league which i agree with but not by making more clubs, clubs should ne moved from melbourne. there are so many clubs there the only one that is perfect with their money is collingwood, the should move 4 teams out of melbourne. kangaroos to gold coast, western bulldogs to west sydney and hawthorn to launceston and st kilda to camberra. this way there will be less teams in melbourne creating more money for the remaining clubs. and i know the supporters of these clubs that should be moved wontbe happy but this a national game and there should be more clubs nationally then there are in melbourne. and i know the game started there but it has evolved into a national game so should be more national.

  2. Its Andrew Demetrious fault. I reacon they should sack him.

  3. Yea i agree with you and Rom. i used to play netball and the girls i played against were b*****s! they would push you over, scratch you, pull your hair all to get the fricken ball. id be more scared of playing netball then being tackled in AFL.

  4. Totally agree with you on most things, the AFL has turned this game into a game for not much more than athletes, 75% are just that and not much else, they can't beat an opponent one on one because the ball is hardly ever kicked to a pack, it's all soft easy possession footy, get out on your own and look like a champion, the game is all about keeping's off, hey i still love our game but it's just not the same tough game i grew up with.

Find it hard to agree with your comments re-the SANFL being better to watch, the skills etc. AFL players do that well, that's all they do at training, skill work with the balls, most are good users of the footy, if the SANFL blokes were that good, they'd be in the AFL, i know where your coming from though, even good country footy is tougher then the AFL, no camera's etc, blokes still play good tough footy.
