It's none of their business!!! Let the two nations sort it out themselves, a third army will only make things worse!

  1. Your analogy makes sense. Except if you're trying to apply it to us, the US, WE ARE NOT THE WORLD'S TEACHERS, NOR POLICE, NOR ANY AUTHORITY FIGURE.

  2. From what I have read they are there on a humanitarian mission, to make sure supplies are reaching those who need it.  And in my belief thats everyones business

  3. When did we go to Georgia? We are sending food and water and medical supplies. When has that become hostile action? To prevent people from dying?

Also, even if we did go to war, it is our business. We are allies with Georgia. That means we protect them. Its kind of like this. Lets say your 16, and you seen a 15 year old beating the c**p out of a 3 year old. Would you not feel obligated to step in? Or would you let that little 3 year old get beat? If you wouldnt step in, your selfish and sick in the head. To allow the weak to die simply because the strong want to take advantage is a reason to step in.

  4. What? There are no U.S. troops there. Try actually looking at a news paper or something instead of listening to rumors.

  5. Well, to be honest look at the size of Russia then look at the size of Georgia, and also take into consideration the difference in millitary supplies and power.  If it wasn't there "business", then many third world countries would be under total control of a superior country.  Maybe I'm rambling on, but look at it this way:  Russia is the big bully at school, and Georgia is the small victim.  Wouldn't you expect a teacher to butt in and stop the harrassment of the victim?

  6. Not for combat operations.

"A US military assessment team was in the country to determine conditions for a major humanitarian relief operation".

Like Slightly Dark Francis(thanks), I have provided the traditional blue link, much easier to read.  http://afp.google.com/article/ALeqM5jL9w...

  7. it was a silly move by which US revealed their involvement in that conflict- they gave a green light to Georgia to attack South Ossetia.

the mission is "half"-military by the way..... but i dont think US will dare now, the truth is too obvious now for every country in the world (without anti-russian hysteria)

  8. Let them sort it out themselves.  You are stupid.  how about if a powerful gang takes up residence in your home.  Let your family sort it out themselves.

  9. Because we are allies with Georgia and we have an obligation to help them.

  10. As far as I know there is no US forces in Georgia. Only Russian peacemakers and defeated Georgian army.

NickNicka I'll tell you one more time - stop copying or you'll be thrown out of these topics I promise

  11. I'm sorry, you're link to a source must be in white, because I can't see it against the white background.

This one's in the more traditional blue:
