Question:

Why has the UN created more wars than prevented? i.e. gulf war, kosovo, korea, vietnam, iraq, etc.

  1. Why are you blaming the UN for the second Iraq war? The UN didn't endorse it. Bush wouldn't even allow it to come to a vote. The first Gulf War was a success; a notch on the belt of both the UN and the USA under Bush I. Something had to done in Korea of the repressive N. Koreans would control the entire country. You've list the war that the UN "created". You don't make any effort to discuss the wars they've prevented. Your question is pure propaganda.

    it was just not able to prevent them.

    in each of them, the US wanted to go to war.

    and forced the UN to agree.

  4. If anything the UN has avoided more wars than you know about. Granted it has been involved in many wars but only in a defensive joint multi national role. The UN had no participation  in the Vietnam war, but there were member nations in that war (US, Australia, South Korea, so on).
