  1. I work at grocery store and the answer is the "trickle down" process. when a manufacturer is hit with something like a gas price or import fee, its only good buisness to pas the cost onto the buyer. so eventually all faucets of an economy will feel the sting of inflation even if the product it sef is not affected

  2. Because of gas to ship, and help produce the product.

  3. The value of the dollar has dropped a lot . So everything is more expensive and will continual to go up .

  4. cuz yur presidents a d*** head.

  5. It all starts, and goes back to, high Gas Prices.

To make candy, your factory needs to have fuel to keep its machines running, and thus, the Fuel is going up.

Also, they need to ship the product to your local convenient store, and with high Gas Prices, it costs more and more to ship, and that's why they need to up their prices. So they can at-least make some profits, because all their money is going away on fuel.

Not just that, some products are foreign, and the value of the Dollar is going down dramatically. Even the Canadian Dollar is worth more. That's why many Foreign cars are costing more as well.

  6. It takes gas to deliver the product and for cost effectiveness, they have to raise the price to make up the cost.
