  1. A few reason,

do you have a good rating? feedback?

did you over price the item?

do you items even hold any value?

  2. The item likely isnt in demand, or its overpriced.  Take your pick.

  3. Look at other peoples items that are similar to yours to get ideas as to how it should be listed (DONT just copy their listing though).

If you don't have feedback, buy some stuff to get some feedback first.  If you have negative feedback, you messed up and are probably screwed.

Nobody wants the stuff you're trying to sell.

You are trying to start it too high priced

You have a reserve on it; a lot of times the items with reserves people don't like to waste their time bidding on.

Try craigslist instead to sell stuff.  I haven't had much luck selling stuff on ebay either.  Ebay is starting to get messed up, mostly because of the deadbeat foreign bidders and the account hijackers.

  4. IT kind of depends on what the items are

  5. Either it isn't what they want, the price is too high,  the quality of the pictures, or they are waiting for the last minute so that they can get the lowest price.

  6. Lots of times people don't bid until the auction is almost over.  You can go into My eBay, Selling to see if anyone is watching your item.  The more watching, the better chance someone will eventually bid.

If no one ends up bidding, it could be because your starting bid or shipping costs were too high.  It could also be because no one wants what you're selling.

  7. there's a lot of competition. you have to list something verrrrry  unique.

  8. you can't flog a dead horse. simple as

  9. what ya got?

add a link to the page

  10. You have to research first.  Making sure that you put the right price against things.

When I first started out - I advertised them at a lower price than I was happy with, just until I had built up a reputation.

Look at your pics, your description, and your postage.  Too many sellers try to make a fortune on the postage.
