Did you also hear that Michelle Obama is finally able to say that she is proud to be an American. Has everyone forgotten about that little mishap???? I haven't, I've always been proud to be an american.

My point was that whatever the media deems important at the time is what people ask questions about on here and make statements about. Michelle Obama's statement needs to be run into the ground because she obviously felt that way and that's not great critera for a first lady. No matter how much or how little we agree with the government, we voted them in.

As far as a second class citizen in the land of the free......if you are referring to yourself then you haven't taken the time to utilize the opportunities that America has to offer. People just sit back and feed off each other and the media.

Because it's irrelevant. I can understand why Alaskans may have been frustrated with a congress which refused to allow Alaska to grow economically by banning most of the drilling there.

He is not running for any office.  I believe it is his wife that is running for the office of Vice President on the McCain ticket.   You and your ilk need to keep your eye on the issues and get an education before voting.

However, one reason is because the Obama campaign along with many other Democrats, don't play dirty like the republicans. Obama is running a respectable campaign on the issues.
