  1. The best we can hope for is that an NFL game will have a CFL mode.

  2. The average CFL fan is 45 and has arthritis, not exactly the demo that game developers are going for.

  3. While we are at it, make a arena football game.

    Or a good baseball game.

    Or a lacrosse game.

Or a freaking handball or cricket game

It is at the bottom of their list.

  4. It would be intriguing to me; I don't have vast knowledge of the NOTB game, but the wider field interests me.  It seems like it has potential to be exciting, and I'll tell you I almost never watch arena ball--it's way too gimmicky and mostly silly.  The CFL is different, sure, but if it was televised down here I would probably become a regular fan--it seems more authentic than arenaball.

  5. cause who would play a game full of no names.....and also they are in the business of making money not loosen it

  6. There already is an Arena League game,  and EA has made games catering to all sorts of international sports like rugby, cricket, maybe australian rules football??

I've seen a website or message board or two with a good number of people who are clamouring for a CFL game.

Probably wouldnt cost much to buy the players name rights, since half of them work as a bouncer or who knows what as a second job anyways with their low salaries!

And so, what difference is it if you dont know the players names (you probably would since many of them are former college stars, Troy Davis, #2 in the heisman vote, for example){  since the College BBALL and FBALL games dont have player names anyways.

Plus it would be interesting, they could make the game in partnership with the CBC and not show the score or time remaining on the screen at all, like in CBC broadcasts!

  7. The sales from a CFL video game wouldn't be enough to cover the development cost.  People seem to think a CFL game would sell a million copies, but that would mean that 1 out of every 30 people in Canada would be buying a copy, which isn't going to happen.

  8. Because the CFL has not historically done a very good job of marketing itself in the United States (where a majority of EA's & 989's sales market is), the demand for such a game is extremely low.  Even Arena Football has more of a following than the CFL in the US.  Unless the CFL does a better job of marketing itself, American fans will continue to ignore it and the only demand for such a game is from the extremely curious or the rabid fans (of which there are not many).

  9. only 8 people would buy it , since there are only 8 teams
