Why hasnt motocross switched to "EFI"/ WOULD IT INCREASE HP?

i understand that the cost is more, there are more parts( sensors, wiring, fuel pump,injector). and added weight of course.

I think since they started running the 4-strokes they are even more weight concious, there is alot to go wrong with all that senors and wiring.  I also dont think it will give them that much more if any more HP, it would make them easier to tune and they would get better gas mileage but thats not a real concern on a race bike.  I think kawasaki is putting FI on their new 450 Quad.
