  1. b/c li ning lit it

  2. just because it rains doesn't mean the fire can go out... it is constantly getting gas fuel and will stay lite in the most weather.  A tornado might be able to blow it out but rain wont efffect it.

  3. It's a large gas flame, likely propane (like the handheld torches) or natural gas. A fire that large (likely 10 feet across) would take gallons of water poured just right, all at once to put it out. A little rain will either fall through and drain from the Scroll, or just get evaporated from the extreme heat. The chinese wouldn't let it go out, all they have to do is pump more gas.

Have you ever seen a blowtorch or campfire completely extinguished when from just rain?

  4. depends what you mean by fake. the olympic torch is fueld by gas

  5. It's the same as your food never having spit in. It's happened but nobody knows about it so it's all good, so they say

  6. 65% butane, 35% propane fuel

    at least in year 2000

    HOWS THAT for an ANSWER??

  7. They keep constantly putting fuel inside the torch so that it never goes out.

  8. Dude... isnt it obvious that the torch is gas lit. SO theres like a gas tank in the torch which keeps it going...

  9. The Olympic torch is usually some type of gas flame, similar to some stoves.  Fire from burning natural gas is just as real as fire you get any other way.
