and the ipod touch is almost twice the price

  1. iPod Touch: It hasn't gone down, because you pay straight up $300, $400, and $500 dollars. When you buy an iPhone, You have to pay $200 AND pay for your phone bill contract which starts at $40 a month.

      So if you add it all together...You have to pay $1160 for an iPhone and a 2 year contract if you buy the $40/month contract, So the iPod Touch is actually cheaper if you think about it.

    BTW, The iPod's are going to 99% be changed in September...So don't buy one anytime soon.


  2. The iphone 3G is subsidized and the Touch isn't , the iPhone will cost you a minimum of $1880.

  3. They're going to lower all the prices and possibly introduce new iPods. No one knows when yet, but everyone's expecting them to announce an iPod event. Here's the link I've been using for this info, it's a reliable Apple rumor blog.
