To me that was very serious. It hurts me to believe everyone can dismiss that, and that it was blow out of proportion. McCain isn't perfect, to me nothing can compare what this man said and how Obama could have been deaf for 20 years.

Start calling me the racist all you want. But this man bashed America itself, not just white America.

  1. Very scary how they silenced him, maybe they lynched him, short of Death I can't see how Jerry would keep quiet!

  2. You may also want to do some research on Obama's friendship with William Ayers the leader of the radical Weather Underground Organization that claimed responsibility for a dozen bombings between 1970 and 1974.

Obama announced his campaign from his house and also listened and sought council from a man who as admitted to bombing and killing people.

But Obama claims he is mainstream and respectable.  Even though, Ayers has never convicted of any crime, he told the New York Times in September 2001, "I don't regret setting bombs...I feel we didn't do enough."

Why this man is even respected and is now a professor at a major university is also beyond my imagination.  Just because you have a passion for social justice does not mean that you can kill people and think that is okay and that you didn't do enough.

My association with this man would have ended the day I found out.

And for Obama to sit through 20 years of hate filled rhetoric ... and to have the crowd applaud and cheer Rev. Wright on... is unbelievable.  Obama being a man of justice never called him to the carpet on it? Only to disown him afterward he was questioned about it?

One of many reasons, i feel that I cannot elect a man who cannot make good choices.. he can't even choose good mentors.

Tina -- Ayers is white and Wright is black.  I am not questioning his race... and you do not know what he is capable of feeling or thinking -- nor do I.  But I can by what he has done or not done.  I am only questioning his associations and his actions.  Please do not bring those associations and thoughts into our cabinets our lawmakers, our Supreme Court, our presidency.  Birds of a feather stick together.

And in this case there are many, many things you must wonder about.  And bringing race into the elections is your way of dismissing the real story.

  3. It seems truly Unnamerican to have a president who sat listening to that man preach hate about our country for two decades.

  4. This nation was founded on EUROPEAN values. Wright and Obama want to make us slaves to Africa. Trying to change that is the same as being a traitor. Obama will not win. He is a traitor to this nation. He belongs in jail for being a rabble rouser.

  5. Many of us have not, and will not forget about Obama and his spiritual "mentor". People do not stay in a Church a week (let alone twenty years) unless they fundamentally agree with what is being taught. Churches are plentiful, especially in Chicago.^

  6. Perhaps Rev. Wright realized how much more racist he was sounding than those he was accusing of being racist and repented?

Wouldn't that be something to hope for?

  7. I agree.

Never an answer from Obama on how he sat there for 20 years with Rev. Wright flailing away.

You are right, it is quite serious in my mind too.

  8. Great post.  And even more frightening is he's still in the lead with Americans despite the disgusting things that have come out about his character and associations.  I don't know what's going on with the Americans.

  9. It's convenient that Obama can just completely detach himself from his long time friend and mentor, and 'disown' him. Is that really the sort of President we want? When somebody becomes inconvenient, they're eliminated?

  10. Nope.  Wright is a reminder that Obama belongs to a phony religion that is nothing more than racist Marxism.  Wright was simply preaching the church doctrine.  These quotes from James H. Cone, the father of Black Liberation Theology are; if nothing else, extremely racist toward white people.

“To be Christian is to be one of those whom God has chosen. God has chosen black people!”

"Malcolm X was not far wrong when he called the white man 'the devil."

"complete emancipation of black people from white oppression by whatever means black people deem necessary."

"The time has come for white America to be silent and listen to black people"

"All white men are responsible for white oppression"

"There is, then, a desperate need for a black theology, a theology whose sole purpose is to apply the freeing power of the gospel to black people under white oppression."

"Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is to kill Gods who do not belong to the black community. Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love."

"While it is true that blacks do hate whites, black hatred is not racism."

"If there is any contemporary meaning of the Antichrist, the white church seems to be a manifestation of it."

  11. b/c its old news btw Obama doesn't have the capability to be a racist considering he came out of a white woman and was raised by loved and respected a white woman, his mother. He's half white in case you all forgot! You guys are trying to slander his name and make false accusations to scare undecided voters away. Whats most important are his political views how he's going to bring our troops home, reform healthcare and the economy so we don't become some third world country.

  12. Mccain cheated on his crippled wife no ones talking about that either.  We are facing to many problems to be concerned with these unimportant things.  I've listened to the former marine Rev. Wright speak he doesn't hate America, he hates the policies of America. There is a difference but you are not here to learn anything so I will stop now.

  13. He fits Obama's secret life, but not his public life.

  14. It seems truly unamerican to bash a man who served our country so selflessly just because you don't approve of what he said.

I don't approve of what he said either but I honor the military service of both Rev Wright and Senator McCain.
