Why have I really been into punk songs about anarchy and overthrowing the Queen and such lately?

I find myself blasting these in my convertible. I'm 38 and don't even live in the UK. People must think I'm mad.

You should probably ask a sociologist. Looks to me like you're being rebellious, though, and that's ok because I'm guessing you're young and it's the only real way you can express your disillusionment relating to the Establishment. Or just because you think it's cool. Either are OK nowadays.

Royalty, like Queen, may have more input into the policies that influence America than everyone thinks. Royalty own a lot of oil companies and shares in oil companies. Look at the names - Royal Dutch Shell. BP - British Petroleum. Look up the names of the royals from the Netherlands. I think they own Shell.
