Why have Latin American countries not developed faster?

Question

With few exceptions most Latin American countries have been slow to develop as compared with most East Asian countries, why is that?

too many naps, and asians use the metric system to t4ell time.  They have 30 hours in a day and only 3 hours to sleep which put them ahead of the other countries by 3 months each year.

Because the avg. Latino/a feels powerless and like they can't do anything innovative.
