  1. Its the socialist agenda of all must be equal , so lets dumn down everyone (comprehensive not high, a levels that are like the old c.s.e, etc, etc)

  2. It is fashionable to be stupid these days.  Totally.

  3. its not really being inarticulate the word like is more of a place holder. when you think you dont use the word like, but when your talking you may use it without noticing because the word like is like ummm or errr it kind of holds your place when your talking. cause most the time people are trying to find a way to convey their thoughts so the other person can uderstand what they are trying to day.

  4. The function of the word is to give the person time to think in most cases.

This is needed as the vocabulary may be limited and the ability to have a sensibel conversation is lacking.

Blame the text generation no one talks any more.

  5. This is the language abuse that we have inherited from our friendly fire friends in USA. Or maybe they can't be bothered to speak properly.

  6. "Like" is used a lot in the north of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

Often you'll hear people saying "you know" about 100 times a minute too.

It's just dialect and means nothing, like, you know, kinda :-)

  7. Let's face it...we are a nation of apathetic morons.....our government, police, medical professionals, teachers, youth......no one gives a f-k about anyone or anything but themselves....just look at the way people  drive and push into each other at shopping centres, etc.  Let's not pretend otherwise to the outsidw World lest they should venture here and discover the sad truths for themselves. Millions are leaving for good and it's not just for the weather.!

  8. i dont no, may-b da skools r pants

Just kidding.  I have no idea.  It annoys the UUMM h**l out of EERR me, like!

  9. I don't think its just happened. People have always used slang words and text speak doesn't help!  Where I live they use the word likes  - "I likes that" sets my teeth on edge -innit

  10. What are you asking?
