Why have camelote plc done a credit check on me?is this normal?

I have just checked my credit status, and discovered that Camelot PLC have done two credit checks on me, why is this?

I am not sure what the company is but people do credit checks for a lot of reasons. If they want to sell you something, credit check. If you have purchased something and they want to increase your interest, they keep tabs on your credit. Heck, take a car for a test drive and they will do a credit check while you are gone.
