Why have gas prices gone up so much. iIt's still the same gas, just a different year.?

Yes, it's the same gas, but there's less of it. The gas company knows that we need gas, and since there's less of it and they're the only place we can get it, they can charge us as much as they want and we'll have to pay.

theyve gone up cause theres not that much oil left in the world and if I were you I would get a very economic car cause in may it goin to be 4$ per gallon imagine that!

There are a lot more people driving than there were 50 years ago.  More demand means higher prices.

50 years ago, there was alot less demand, and alot more crude oil to be found, and refineries could keep up with the demand.
