Why have i not been able to receive SMS message from the Philippines?

I have been sending messages to friends who have been on SMS for years, but for the past few days they have not been receiving my messages and I have not received theirs. The girl is in the PI and has used her YM to sign into SMS. We have been sending messages everyday for years ... until yesterday and today.

  1. many services don't route international sms!


  2. maybe it doesnt travel all the way to the philippenes

  3. you have to get the roaming service.

  4. Hmm.. I've always used Chikka from http://www.chikka.com to send my SMS messages to the Philippines.

    Works great.

  5. You will need auto-roaming for international purposes.
