  1. Could be Gestational Diabetes.  Talk to your doctor.

It could also just be that your 2nd trimester is going to be worse than your 1st.  It happens.

  2. pregnancy can be a big strain on your body, and it will take a toll on your body

talk to your gp just to be on the safe side tho

  3. As always its best to go and talk to your doctor or midwife if you're feeling really terrible but it may just be that you are reacting more to the hormones now than you were in the first trimester.  With my first i had a bad first trimester feeling ill and completely exhausted but i had loads of energy in the second trimester.  With this one though i felt ill in the first trimester, had bleeding and stuff and was tired and now i am nearly through the second trimester and i am still exhausted and feel ill sometimes.  Every now and again i still feel sick and i have to go for a sleep.

I started to feel a bit less sick at 18 weeks but it may be that you are one of the unlucky people who will feel this way the whole way through your pregnancy.  Its unpleasant but a good sleeping routine, eating little and often and avoiding fatty foods should help (i find fatty foods really irritated my stomach).

Anyway good luck and i really do hope you feel better soon!

  4. yep - it's called being pregnant - it's just the way it is

    :-)

  5. it just sounds like pretty normal stuff but a lack of iron might be why ur so tired get some iron capsules from the dr

    :)

  6. sometimes is because of the formation of the fectus it happens I couldnt work when it was me cause I couldnt stand up for much time. It varies from person to person, but I would advise you to talk with your midwife and your GP

  7. Cause the baby is selfish lol

  8. have you been feeling faint too? you could be anaemic, your midwife should take a blood test soon and let you know your iron levels

  9. I agree with the lack of iron..especially since you had so much bleeding. I would talk to your doctor and let them know how you are feeling, they might want to check your blood levels.

Technically both could be just normal symptoms of pregnancy, though. I had exhaustion in my first trimester, but it slowly went away by 16 weeks...now it's starting to come back a little at 31 weeks.

    Good luck.
