Why have levels in YA!?

what happens when you reach a new level? does anything change?

You get to rate and ask and answer more questions, its to stop people spamming the site, imagine if people like fizzdude had unlimited answers, it would overload the servers and the site would crash.

when you see your pic name and amount of points that you have click on the amount of points. You will see the result of earning more points. Everyone is looking to have a higher status symbol even in YA
