Why have my nails turned yellow??

I painted my nails green like a week ago and took it off with polish remover because my work at my job made them start to chip and now they're yellow? I even painted them pink & black! What could it be?

Could be yellow undertones in your green polish leaving residue on your nails.  Give them some time to breathe with no polish and see how they do.

The same thing happened to me a few months ago, I used NYC lime green, and something in the green dye, dyed your finger nails green. I know its embarrassing, but theres not much to do other than to let your nails grow out.

next time you use green put a layer of clear nail polish on, it will help prevent this.

its all because of nail polish, when you use darker colors it turns yellow, you could use shinny ice color under dark colors to prevent yellow nails,
