  1. the six nations have become so popular that all matches are televised and because of this they would be unable to show all the matches on one day

  2. Th reason they put some matches on, on Sunday is to try to shorten the rugby season for the players.. The season was dragging on too long & players aren't getting enough time to rest & heal any injuries picked up over the course of the season..

It's a bit of a drag but hey what ya gonna do.....Miss them??? Don't think so!!

  3. Totally agree - plus you have to take another days holiday if you want to have a few beers and enjoy the atmosphere after the game!

  4. its because they cant get the screen time all day saturday and it the irb mate just to let you now the rfu only do english rugby irb do internationals

  5. Money talks and all the games are tlevised. I expect the tv people tell the teams which games they want totelevise and at what time.

  6. Since Italy joined, a few years back, it is now the Six Nations as opposed to the five Nations championship.  BBC has to fit 5 extra games into the same number of weeks. That's why they need to play some games on a Sunday.

  7. Sunday is the only day of the week when there are not a lot of regular and popular programs on.

Sooooooo, they can take over BBC or ITV all afternoon with no complaints! Sunday has always been sports day and Saturday.

And people dont usally work on a sunday so you hope they are just being nice!!!!!!!!
