I am new to growing veg but have a new very well prepared raised bed that seemed to be doing well up until a week or so ago when all the leaves on the above plants started turning yellow/white. My root vegetables seem to be doing fine. Does any have any suggestions as to the cause and cure?

  1. Stop p1ssing in the cabbage patch!

  2. When the leaves of my cabbage did the same, I put some tomato leaves on them. My cabbage looks fine now. I've read in a 'green gardening' book that an infusion of tomato leaves will help the cabbage, but I didn't have time for infusions. I just took the suckers off of my tomato plants and did two jobs at the same time.

  3. cabbage, broccoli and brussel sprounts are cool season plants and don't do well when it heats up.  They are best planted in the fall or in the spring depending on where you live.  They need to mature in cool weather.  I reccomend getting a good general vegetable book as there are different times of the year to plant each vegetable as well as depth, distance, etc...

  4. its harvest time or close too it
