Just when it seemed Yahoo was again supporting 360, (messages/comments post timely) they go and remove the link from the home page... not a good omen !

Not seeing any hint of the "New Version" so, what's the deal? Why is Yahoo making this difficult to access ?

  1. Only Yahoo users like yourself typically answer questions here  and the Yahoo! 360 team does not respond personally anymore to feedback forms, as far as I know.

The Yahoo! 360 link on the front page, as you've seen, comes and goes. It's a "beta" (i.e. testing) service 3 years after it's inception, so expect anything related to it to be temporary.

You can try clearing your browser's cookies and cache, as it's possible that you are looking at an older version of the home page. However, you should not rely on that home page link, but rather create a Bookmark/Button on your browser to easily access Yahoo! 360.

If you use Firefox, see http://mozilla.gunnars.net/firefox_bookm... .

If you use I.E. just drag the URL from the Address bar to your Favorites bar. See http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/comm... for a visual.

Y!360 is transitioning into a different social networking platform in the 2nd half of 2008. The time period has changed, as it was previously announced to be early 2008. There has not been a more specific date announced on the blog yet. See http://blog.360.yahoo.com/product_360 for more details. They have said that they were working on some things in the last week, which could account for things stopping, resuming or changing related to the service. However, they are no longer fixing bugs related to Y!360, so there's no point in trying to contact them about it.

We all have to wait or use another social networking service (or both). ;-)
